My mind is so cluttered.

Sometimes, I feel like someone opened a fire hose of thoughts in my mind. They come so fast I can’t keep track.

And which thoughts are worth paying attention to in the first place? Which distractions are just created by my hard-working mind?

Without staying focused, you are at the whim of all those thoughts that keep pushing and pulling you in all directions.

Wouldn’t you rather be in charge of your mind and have it help you meet your goals?

Anxious thoughts fill my head.

Sometimes, my thoughts are all about fear.

What if this, what if that? What about that nasty thing over there?

My anxious mind seems to be in control, sending me chasing after stories that I know aren’t true.

I want some peace!

 

You can learn to manage your mind.

If you want to build strong muscles, you go to the gym.

If you want to build a strong mind, you meditate.

Life will always push and pull you in so many ways.

It’s time to train your mind.

It has been 15 years since I first stared down the silence. My life has changed dramatically for the better as a result.

You can learn to make friends with yourself, stay present in the moment, and choose where you place your attention and intention.

Through meditation, you can find much more healing and peace and the focus to accomplish your goals – rather than everyone else’s goals.
